Killara is only 20 minutes' to the City by train or car and we have excellent shopping centres nearby with Chatswood and the Macquarie Centre catering for everyone's needs.

We have many excellent schools in the area, both public and private as well as the University of Technology's Lindfield based Ku-Ring-Gai campus.

Ku-ring-gai is the municipality and the name was adopted by the Aboriginal tribes of this area. We are surrounded by National Parks, local parks, restaurants and theatres. If you are a keen sportsperson there are wonderful facilities including tennis courts, beautiful golf courses, bowling greens and ovals. Ku-ring-gai is also famous for its beautiful trees and is known colloquially as "the leafy North Shore".
